Your HR Questions and Answer Center

When you have a question about managing your people or keeping up with changes in the laws, do you have a place to turn for the guidance you need?

There are literally thousands of rules, regulations, and laws that the federal, state and local governments impose on your organization. Keeping up with the changes and requirements that are being added to your burden each month is a nightmare. This is not easy when so much is asked and what you should do next is not clear.

This does not have to be such a burden. We have years of experience, as well as advisors that are affiliated with us, that can help you think through what should be done next.  We are not lawyers and we cannot give legal advice. We are not licensed brokers either. Many times though we can share with you a relatively straightforward piece of information that you need in order to make a good decision for your company. We know who to ask that can point us in the right direction.  If the question is particularly complicated, we will suggest you seek more formal legal opinions or to ask a specialist. The world is changing fast for us as well so we may have to research things and get back to you.

Many times, however, we can provide you with examples from other companies who are facing situations just like you, right on the spot, so you can get back to running your business.

So what is the next step if you have a question? There are two options.

  1. Click here to go to Your HR Help Desk and write down your specific question or a brief comment on the situation you are facing.  This will give us a little time to research what could be done. This is particularly the best way when you don’t have an emergency on your hands. Please provide details of the problem, issue or question you have for our HR Experts. Outline the situation you face and specifically what you want to know. We will research it for you and get back with our suggestions and thoughts. (We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.)
  2. Pick up the phone and call. Sometimes it is easier to explain your situation over the phone. We can have a conversation about your issue or concern.  We may not have an immediate answer, but we will call you back with our best thoughts and ideas.  Our number is 973-378-8456.    (There will be a charge for handling your requests over the phone for our personal consulting time)

In both cases, you will make the decision what is right for you based on all the research you have done. You may be in business for yourself, but you don’t have to be in business alone. TalentValue stands ready to help.
